Titanium White - Cadmium Yellow Light - Yellow Ochre - Alizarin Crimson - Bright Red or Cadmium Red Medium

Phthalo Blue  - Phthalo Green - Cerulean Blue  - Prussian Blue - Ultramarine Blue - Sap Green - Burnt Sienna                Burnt Umber - Van Dyke Brown - Midnight Black or Ivory Black

12 x 16 Canvas - Table Easel - Palette Paper or Freezer paper - Paper Towels - Pack  of Baby Wipes                                   Masking tape - Wet Canvas Carrier (suggested)

Odorless thinner – either Odorless Turpenoid or Gamsol (odorless, non-toxic)        

(**Do not use odorless products from hardware stores.**  It is extremely important to use only artist grade odorless thinner. They are available where you buy art supplies.)

 

Container for paint thinner                                                                                                                                                                                             (Plastic container or coffee can with screen or Bob Ross brush cleaning system)

 

 

Watercolor

 

Brushes

Round brush (# 6 or 8) - 1/2" - 1" Flat brush   

 

Watercolor Paper

 140lb Cold Press (Available in sheets, pads, or blocks)

 

Watercolor Paint

I recommend watercolor paints that come in tubes.

Basic Palette:                                                                                                                       

Lemon Yellow - Alizarin Crimson - Pyrrol Red - Ultramarine Blue  - Phthalo Blue  - Burnt Sienna  

 

Optional Additional colors:

Paynes Grey - Burnt Umber - Raw Sienna - Sap Green - Viridian - Cobalt Blue - Cerulean Blue - Turquoise - Cobalt Violet   

Other Supplies

Plastic or ceramic palette-paper towels-2 water containers-painting board-masking tape
